All firms interested in working on the Airport Administration Building project MUST complete Step #1: Registration in the Sundt San Diego Airports PlanetBids Vendor Database.
All Contractors who hold a Contractor’s License, a DIR Registration Number, have an EMR (Experience Modification Ratio), AND install work, MUST complete BOTH Step #1 AND Step #2: Sundt SubQual On-Line Prequalification Form.

- Supplies Labor, Equipment & Materials
- Installs permanent work
- Holds California Contractor’s License
- Holds DIR Registration Number
- EMR (Experience Modification Ratio)
A Non-Contractor Firm is considered to be…
- Vendor and/or Supplier of materials
- Rental Equipment
- Professional Services that do not install materials
- See exemption list for specific types of firms not required to complete Step #2

How To View Bid Packages, Identify Prospective Bidders and Download Bid Documents & Addendum per Bid Package
After a trade package is awarded to a subcontractor, the ranking of each bidder will be displayed on Planetbids under the “Bid Results” tab. Sub-Tier, Vendors, Suppliers can find contact information for the awarded subcontractor by reviewing the “Prospective Bidders” tab and locating the awarded subcontractor’s contact information.
